Uganda, along with the rest of the world, will gather in Riyadh for the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games Running from 7–21 November, the Games will bring the sporting world together through the shared values of peace, unity, and hope.

Uganda Lady Cranes 7s Gear Up For Continental Shutdown.
The Uganda Lady Cranes 7s team is set to take the field at the Africa Women’s Sevens, scheduled to kick off next week on November 15-16 at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi, Kenya. The team, fresh from a silver medal finish at the Safari 7s in Nairobi, is looking to make a strong impression in the tournament.
Uganda is drawn in Pool C, alongside Zambia and Burkina Faso. The Lady Cranes have been summoned to camp, led by head coach Onen Charles and his team management, which includes Winnie Atyang (team manager), Kigongo Ssebalamu (assistant head coach), and Nelson Mayeku (team medic).
The 18-player summoned squad for the training camp includes:

The Africa Women’s Sevens features 12 teams divided into four pools:
– Pool A: South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mauritius
– Pool B: Kenya, Ghana, and Ivory Coast
– Pool C: Uganda, Zambia, and Burkina Faso
– Pool D: Madagascar, Tunisia, and Egypt
With their recent form and a strong squad, the Uganda Lady Cranes will be looking to make a mark in the tournament and potentially secure a spot in the World Rugby SVNS Div 3.
