World Anti-Doping Code

The World Anti-Doping Code was first adopted in 2003 and took effect
in 2004. It was subsequently amended four times, the first time
effective 1 January 2009, the second time effective 1 January 2015,
the third time effective 1 April 2018 (compliance amendments) and
the fourth time effective 1 June 2019 (reporting of certain endogenous
substances as Atypical Findings). The revised 2021 World Anti-Doping
Code is effective as of 1 January 2021.

Prohibited Association List

The Prohibited List is a mandatory International Standard as part of the World
Anti-Doping Program. The List is updated annually following an extensive consultation process facilitated by WADA. The effective date of the List is 01 January 2026. The 2026 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List) went into effect on 1 January 2026.
The prohibited list is updated every year and takes effect on 1st January of that year

The Global DRO is a database that provides athletes and support personnel with information about the prohibited status of specific medications based on the current World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List

Anti-doping Education Learning Platform (ADEL)

The global Anti-Doping Education and Learning platform (ADEL) offers access to all topics related to clean sport and anti-doping. It offers courses for athletes, coaches, doctors, administrators and anyone interested in learning more about anti-doping and protecting the values of clean sport.
