Kabojja Partners with Uganda Table Tennis Association to Host 2025 Uganda Open

Kabojja International School has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) to host the Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship 2025, marking a groundbreaking partnership in promoting sports excellence and youth talent.
The signing ceremony at Kabojja’s campus brought together UTTA executives, school leadership, and the media. UTTA President Cyrus Mark Muwanga hailed Kabojja as the perfect partner to elevate the championship, noting the school’s reputation for excellence and innovation.
“To raise the standards of the Uganda Open, we needed a partner that reflects quality and vision. Kabojja International School is that partner,” Muwanga said.
Principal and CEO Sam Turya, alongside Director Owekiitibwa Ahmed Lwasa, reaffirmed the school’s dedication to sports as a pillar of holistic education.
“Sports builds discipline, teamwork, and resilience which are qualities every young person needs to thrive to possess,” Turya said.
The Uganda Open Table Tennis Championship 2025 will take place between December 6 and 7 and will be hosted at Kabojja International School’s state-of-the-art facilities. The partnership also promises international exposure, cultural exchange, and an exciting opportunity for young Ugandan athletes to shine on a bigger stage.
