Uganda, along with the rest of the world, will gather in Riyadh for the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games Running from 7–21 November, the Games will bring the sporting world together through the shared values of peace, unity, and hope.
Uganda Glows During ISG 2025 Opening Ceremony As Focus Turns To The Games Proper

Uganda joined the other 56 countries at the official opening ceremony for Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Jenadriyah Camel Racing Track.
The opening ceremony lured as many as 2000 athletes and delegations from 57 delegations.
It was lit up by performances from the Saudi Culture and magnificent fireworks. Uganda is in action on Saturday, 8th November 2025 in the various sports disciplines.
Alfred Ojok and Jimmy Adriko (Boxers), Swimmers (Gloria Muzito, Tara Ann Naluwooza Kisawuzi and the 4X100M team), Table Tennis Team and Weightlifter Davis Niyoyita are all in action at different distant venues in Riyadh.
Swimming (10-Noon); Table Tennis (Whole Day), Boxing (Two bouts; 1 at 1:30 PM and another at 6 PM) as well as weightlifting at 3 PM (Davis Niyoyita).
