Relay team misses final, medal push turns to men's 5k.

Uganda’s 4×400m mixed relay team narrowly missed out on the final after finishing fifth in a competitive heat at the EDF Scotstoun Stadium.
Haron Adoli, Maureen Banura, Erick Okwii and Leni Shida clocked 3:23.47, finishing ninth overall just one place short of qualification.
Uganda’s athletics focus now shifts to Saturday in the men’s 5,000m final, where Samuel Simba Cherop, Dan Kibet and Oscar Chelimo will aim for a strong finish.
