Uganda’s Bombers team Captain Nuhu Batte has continued his match towards another boxing medal after emphatically ejecting India’s Yadav Pratap.

“You will never see a braver Ugandan fighter than Batte’s performance tonight” Ugandan celebrated journalist Brian Kawalya wrote on social media.

Batte will return to action on Tuesday against Englishman Patris Mughalzai in the round of eight.

When asked what this means, Batte said, “these are things we dream of at an early stage in life. Now i am living the dream, but will take every second as it comes to ensure i enter the medal bracket”.

But before Batte returns, light heavy weight Alfred Ojok returns the round of 16 against English man Dimeju Shittu later today.

Boxing still has Emilly Nakalema,Angel Katushabe and Aziz Ringo yet to taste action while Ibrahim Kemis was on Saturday ejected by Zambian Albert Ngulube.
