Uganda’s Charles Mwangushya has lost to Gambian Abdourhman Ceesay in the -100kgs category of judo at the 2026 commonwealth Games in Glasgow Scotland.

“I realized that experience at such events is crucial to get victory. I thus request our government to grant us more exposure at this level, we shall excel” Mwangushya said.

Uganda was represented by two Judokas with the other a lady; Zubeda Talikaza.
