Uganda’s Judokas will today taste action at the 2026 Commonwealth games when the judo program starts at the Scottish events Campus in Glasgow, Scotland.

First in action will be Zubeda Talikaza against Canadian Charlie Thibault in the round of 16 for the women under 70kgs category which includes athletes between 63 and 70 kgs.

“We are lucky to have travelled early. The training in Kampala was good and here we have heard enough rest. Tomorrow is what i have dreamt all my life” she said.

The other player on the team is Charles Mwangushya who will contest in the 100kgs which is for those between 90 and 100kgs and is due on Sunday.
