Peruth Chemutai runs Uganda to it’s third 2026 CWG medal.
Peruth Chemutai finished third in the women’s steeplechase final after completing the 3000m event in 9:09.96 to win a bronze medal, which is the third medal for Uganda.
She Cranes finish sixth.
Uganda’s She Cranes were beaten 62-54 by South Africa at the Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland in the classification game to decide positions five and six where they finished sixth.
