Uganda She Cranes Receive Warm Support from Ugandan Community in Scotland
Uganda, along with the rest of the world, will gather in Riyadh for the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games Running from 7–21 November, the Games will bring the sporting world together through the shared values of peace, unity, and hope.
The Game Connect trials are currently underway at Mandela National Stadium, where 100 talented refugee youth from Adjumani, Rwamwanja, Kyangwali, and Kampala are showcasing their skills and determination.

She Cranes Enter Final Phase Of Celtic Cup Preps.
Uganda’s national netball team,the She Cranes’ has entered its final 20 days before departure for the 2025 netball Celtic Cup in Scotland.
In the team’s latest training session,13 of the 16 players attended the training session at the MTN Arena Lugogo.
Assistant Coach Ruth Meeme confirmed “a friendly game against a select men’s team on Wednesday as the team aims to start daily training sessions in readiness for the tournament that is a world ranking event”.
The 2025 netball Celtic Cup will feature six teams including Scotland,Wales, Northern Ireland,Zimbabwe and Namibia at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow from the 26th to 30th November.
