She Cranes Touch Down in Glasgow Ahead of Celtic Cup
Uganda’s national netball team,the She Cranes has held its final training session ahead of the Celtic cup that tips-off tomorrow at the Emirates Arena in Galsgow,Scotland.
Team head Coach Rashid Mubiru had all 13 players including professional Mary Nuba who flew straight from his Australia base.
‘’First of all,the weather hasn’t been as intimidating as we originally feared’’ said netball Uganda’s vice president in charge of technical affairs Richard Muhumuza.
‘’ We expect the girls to put on a gallant show as Uganda tries to reclaim global position number six that will grant it automatic qualification to the next world cup’’ he added.
The players in camp are Faridah Kadondi,Specioza Namukose,Akello Malisera,Lilian Achola,Lilian Ajio,Mary Nuba,Christine Nakitto,Shadiah Nassanga,Fildauce Namulema,Shakira Nasaka,Shaffie Nalwanja,Margaret Bagala and Gloria Ayaa.
