On the 14th August, the Uganda Olympic Committee through the Game Connect Project organized celebrations to mark the international youth day.
The Game Connect Project of the Uganda Olympic Committee is currently a project that is focused on improving sport participation of refugees in the various settlement camps in the Republic of Uganda.
UOC is with various partners such as AVSI, Right to Play and Youth Sport Uganda for the effective delivery of the Game Connect Project.
The celebrations were held online via a zoom webinar platform. The celebrations were open to all the stakeholders and these ranged from the Organizing partners to the Public.
Various Federations heads were encouraged to attend the meeting, and also members and heads of the various commissions were in attendance.
The online celebrations commenced at 10:00am and were successfully held and conducted.
Also the achievements and roles of the Uganda Olympic Committee were appreciated towards building a strong sporting generation in the country.
