On 20th July 2017, the Uganda Olympic Committee organized the IOC Athletes’ Career Programme (ACP). With collaboration from Adecco Group and the UOC Athletes’ Commission, the workshop was able to host 38 participants from different sports like netball, para-swimming, swimming, football, basketball, handball, equestrian, badminton to mention but a few.
The IOC instructor and former Olympian Kady Kanoute Tounkara was delighted with the turn up and hunger for the athletes to have their futures streamlined for their sustainability. She was aided by the presence of the Uganda Olympian and Chairperson of the UOC Athletes’ Commission Mr. Ganzi Mugula.
This workshop is an annual event and will happen next year too.
