The Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) organized an Olympic Values Education Programme OVEP 2.0 training workshop from the 6th – 8th of September 2017 at Kampala Parents School. A total of Nine (9) National Olympic Committees (NOCs) that included Rwanda, Eritrea, South Sudan, Djibouti, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Burundi, Namibia and over 50 participants from different institutions that included Schools, Universities, Tertiary institutions and both Public and Private Sports Organizations were all part of this training.
We believe that this training was a great opportunity and will be beneficial for the NOCs of the region and Africa who wish to implement the OVEP 2.0 in their own countries or for even those that have it in place and trained on the version of 2.0 of the programme noted Mr. William Blick President, Uganda Olympic Committee.
