The capacity building office of UOC started with great enthusiasm towards empowering sports administrators countrywide in order to develop the sports industry of Uganda. This year’s program started with ASMC followed by SAC.
ASMC
The first module of the Advanced Sport Management Courses 2020 for the General Class 1 started on 11th and 12th January 2020 at the Uganda Olympic Committee offices in Lugogo. A total of 33 people (17 Men and 16 Women) are currently undertaking the programme. Then the next General ASMC class 2 started module 1 on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th January 2020.
SPORTS ADMINSTRATOR COURSES 2020.
From 15th to 17th January 2020, the first Sport Administrator Course was organized and successfully completed at the Youth Empowerment Centre in Soni Kainja parish, Tororo. A total of 45 (25 men and 20 women) participants attended the course and successfully completed it. The next Sport Administrator Course tookplace from 22nd to 24th January 2020 at Namilyango College School, Seeta, Mukono district.
