
On December 20, 2022, the National Federation (NF) Presidents and Secretary Generals met virtually for a meeting organized by the UOC. The meeting brought together leaders from various National Federations and Associations to discuss important issues and updates within the organization.
One of the main topics of discussion at the meeting was the roles and responsibilities of the National Federation/Association President and General Secretary. The importance of effective leadership and communication within these positions was emphasized, and attendees were encouraged to work together towards the common goal of advancing sport with in their sport organizations.
The meeting also included a presentation on the Olympic Solidarity (OS) programs, which provide funding and support for the development of sport at the National and International levels. Attendees were given an overview of the various programs offered, including assistance for athletes and coaches, capacity building and administration, and support for the Olympic Games.
The meeting concluded with a closing prayer, and attendees were thanked for their participation and contributions to the discussion. Overall, the NF President and General Secretary meeting was a valuable opportunity for leaders within the organization to come together and address important matters affecting the future of the National Federations and Associations.
