It was with profound shock and a deep sense of loss that we received the news of the sudden passing of our brother, friend and Treasurer, the late Godfrey Nuwagaba.
No amounts of words can express our sorrow at this point in time, but we remain eternally and forever grateful to his service to the Uganda Athletics Federation, the Uganda Olympic Committee, the Entire Sports Fraternity and the Country at large.
On behalf of the Uganda Olympic Committee and on my own behalf, I humbly extend our humble condolences to the widow and the immediate family, the Uganda Athletics Federation Federation and the entire sports fraternity for sharing Godfrey with us.
Farewell, brother, friend and colleague. Till we meet again.
